Chocoholics delight

Wednesday, December 08, 2011 8:55 AM Enjoy a chocoholics dream trip in Bruges

Chocoholics can now enjoy the perfect trip, after the Kempinski Hotel Dukes’ Palace launched their new chocolate package.

Belgian chocolate is world renowned and now guests can really get their fill at Bruges’ first five star hotel.

The package includes one night in a superior room for two people, a chocolate themed gift upon arrival and a Kempinski Royal Breakfast Buffet with a delicious hot chocolate.

Guests will also receive two tickets to the Bruges Chocolate Museum to learn about the origins of chocolate and what makes Belgian chocolate so special and a steaming hot chocolate served with an assortment of chocolate cookies, will be waiting on their return from the Museum.

To burn off all the calories guests also have access to the spa, with indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam and gym!

There is plenty more to Bruges than just chocolate, it’s a World Heritage site, steeped in history and along with Amsterdam, it is sometimes referred to as the Venice of the North, due to its network of canals, so there’s plenty to see and do.

Breaks start from £221 for one night based on double occupancy, before 30th January and subject to availability.

Vineyard in Cafayate, Argentina

Surrounded by crumbling red mountains and giant towering cacti, seems an unlikely scene to host an array of vineyards, producing some of Argentina’s best wines, yet this exactly where I have come to go wine tasting – in the small town of Cafayate.
